Hello!
This update adds the new Copper textures, and fixes Distant Horizons mod incompatibility.
What's New?
The new copper blocks.
Copper family
New copper blocks have been added to the resource pack with the exceptions of Door and Trapdoor, I will be doing them in a later update along with Iron Door and Trapdoor. The copper blocks uses Hard-Coded Metalness of LabPBR and with a LabPBR compliant shader all the copper family will look perfect, you will also notice the different levels of oxidization in different variants.
What's changed?
Distant Horizons is now compatible
The incompatibility issue was reported by user Mushishi on Discord, before the issue reported I had no idea that there was an issue specifically with Stylista and Distant Horizons, the issue was the grass block top was being rendered as Dirt instead of Grass, which is right because I use a different custom Grass Block Model in Stylista, the Grass in Stylista is on a different layer than the Stones, this was because in different biomes the stones would also get that biome tint and wouldn't look right, because of this the Dirt and Stones was on the base layer in which there was no tint and the Grass Block was overlayed on the Model with the tint applied.
Now in order to fixed the issue I simply switched the Dirt and Stones to the overlay layer from base and moved the Grass to the base layer, this let me keep the same quality on the stones like before and fixed the grass being improperly rendered with Distant Horizons. You can checkout the comparison below which shows how the Grass was rendered with Distant Horizon mod in Stylista R23 release vs how it renders now.
Tweaked existing copper textures
Existing Copper textures have been changed a little to follow the same style with the new copper blocks, the hammered pattern is now a bit more expended which is the most noticeable change.
Next month's voting (November) will be the last in this year to add something new to the resource pack, there won't be a poll in December as I will be focusing on fixing and improving existing textures and or features.
As always, thanks to all the Patreon and Gumraod supporters, I'll try my best to provide you more quality updates of this project and take account of any feedback you provide.
